We attended a wedding fayre at the Birmingham Bromsgrove Holiday Inn 16th October . It was well attended at we would like to say thank you to Laura & Tom for booking a Fountain & Berry Towers for their wedding July next year and also Scott & Kerry for booking mini cupcakes in favour boxes & chocolate fountain for their wedding in September next year.

I would also like to thank Mathew from Elite Photography for his pictures he very kindly forwarded to me from a previous wedding we both attended.

We supplied two of our Berry Towers for the wedding of Liz Green at the beautiful Patshull Hall.

Patshull Hall is a grade 1 listed stately home on the Shropshire / Staffordshire border, it was built in 1750 by James Gibbs and the Gardens where landscaped by Capability Brown.

The Hall is approached down a long driveway to a courtyard through a Triumphal Arch, upon entering the house you are greeted by an imposing grand front hall with iconic pilasters, raised wall panels & a beautiful stone fireplace, and an awe inspiring 19th century coved ceiling.

It is here that we placed our two Berry towers alongside the wedding cake, it made an impressive sight when you arrived at the entrance to the Hall.

Once we had finish setting up the Strawberry Towers the owner lit the fire you see in the background , this soon made for a cosy feel to the Hall, i must admit i was a little concerned that the heat may melt the strawberries, but we need not of worried, when we returned to collect the stands after a fabulous lunch at the local Dartmouth Arms pub , the guests were still enjoying the Bucks Fizz & strawberries.

Chocorococo attended the wedding of Melissa Pearson on September 16th at the Bromsgrove Hilton .

Melissa & her mum came to see us at the Holiday Inn Bromsgrove when we attended a wedding fayre there back in January, and loved the deep purple & white favour boxes i had made for a previous customer that were on show, as this was her chosen colour theme of the day she ordered the same for her wedding guests.

She also chose to have the Berry Tower for their drinks reception, which by all accounts was very well received by her guests.

Want to know what 400+ strawberries look like, then take a look at the photo above. We were asked to provide strawberries & mini cupcakes for 200 guests, to celebrate a wedding for the relative of Miss Needa Patel.

When we returned to collect our stands, we were greeted by several people who commented on how fantastic the cakes & strawberries were . Needa the young lady who booked us commented ,  ” The bride & groom were wowed by the display’s of cakes & strawberries and had several  photos taken by them.”

  The Towers & Cakes  were booked as a surprise by the family .

We had a fabulous day at the wedding fayre, Holiday Inn Bromsgrove last Sunday 26/6/11, it was attended by many couples looking for that something a little bit different, for their special day.

The Chocolate Fountain drew couples to our stand, wanting to taste the chocolate, someone even said they were happy to just stand  and smell the aroma of the chocolate… well, each to their own we say .

Also on display was our Berry Tower , a real winner with our couples looking for something a little different , here are a few words sent to us from a couple who have chosen to have a Chocolate Fountain & Berry Tower package as part of their wedding celebrations next year.

The day of the wedding fayre was by far the hottest day of the year , the Chocolate Wedding Favours i made melted,  as did we, then the fire alarm went off and we all had to vacate the building, ( just briefly) , but the cupcakes that were made withstood the heat & looked amazing.

Congratulation to Tracy & Colin on their wedding on 21/5/2011 , where we supplied 2 Berry Towers for a canapes reception, at St.Andrews Town Hotel Droitwich. They were both  decorated in lemon,  the colour theme of the day… it looked lovely, we received many wonderful comments whilst we were assembling the towers .

The following week we supplied Belgian Chocolate wedding favours for Gemma & Nathans wedding.

Gemma decided to have white chocolate bridal hearts, tied with Fushia pink ribbon , a gem stone & a name tag as she used them as place settings. And for the men she chose Milk Chocolate heart lollies with White chocolate initials of each male attending, again tied with a fushia pink ribbon, gemstone & name tag , a brilliant alternative to place cards, and a tasty treat afterwards.

Gemma & Nathan also chose to have  medium & mini rose cupcakes, decorated in pink & Ivory, which were displayed on a tower, topped with a Giant cupcake on the top.

Colour theme of the day for Gemma, was Fushia pink / grey & Ivory, the cupcakes & wedding favours were supplied to match.

The mini cupcakes make superb wedding favours when placed in little  favour boxes, and again why not add a tag & turn them into place settings. Alternatively, your guests could eat their bespoke mini cupcakes with their coffee, what better way to round off a lovely wedding breakfast.

We also attended a wedding fair at Grimscote Manor Hotel, where we met lots of excited couples , all looking for something a little different for their wedding, we received several bookings for next year, and we thank everyone who booked & chose us to be part of their wedding day.

Our next wedding fair will be atThe Holiday Inn, Bromsgrove on June 26th 2011, followed by the Westmead Hotel, Hopwood in September, then back at the Holiday Inn, Bromsgrove in October. Should we be attending any other wedding fairs, we will of course post the details on our website.
