wedding favours & ideas

Sunday, January 17th, 2010

The wedding season will soon be upon us, and i dare say all would be & soon to be brides are busy planning their ideal day, have you thought about chocolate dipped strawberries? you will see that we now offer a Berry Tower as well as a chocolate fountain for your guests.

Chocolate fountains are still popular, but we have had some brides say they wish to have something different, so why not have the Berry Tower as part of your celebrations, have them as a centre piece for those guests who do not wish wedding cake, or as canapes on arrival at your venue, or even as a wedding favour in a box, tied with a colour co-ordinated ribbon, with your guests name on, this will not only act as a name place, but also as a delicious favour.

We also have spared a thought for the children, we have come up with delicious, hand made Belgian chocolate (white or milk) heart shaped lollipops, we place them in a celophane bag, tied with a colour co-ordinated ribbon & flower, with the child’s name on, The children love it, not only have they a treat to eat, but they know where they are sitting too.IMG_5355

Should you wish the more traditional approach, we also provide wedding favours in what ever colour you desire, (well i will do my best!!) we can either fill the boxes with chocolates for you, or supply the boxes for you to fill. Below is just one of the favours we supply, (Piccalo) we  decorate them to suit your  theme,( the theme below was olive & cream.)

The much loved Chocolate Fountain, a super centre piece for any occasion, and definately more cost effective than the more traditional desserts.

Friday saw us return to the Village Hotel Dudley to supply a Chocorococo Fountain for Tividale Community Arts College ’s James Bond theme prom night. The evening by all accounts was a huge sucess, a DJ played up beat lively tunes all night, and load roars went up when ever a Micheal Jackson song was played, a magician walked amongst the tables amazing everyone with his tricks, and yours truly supplied the chocolate fountain, which as always was greeted by the immortal words…”oh my god! this is amazing”.

The guy’s looked very smart in their suits, no doubt trying to impress the girls, and one or two tried the Miami Vice approach by wearing a white suit, Mmmm! not the best choice with a chocolate fountain around. The girl’s looked lovely in their gowns with their hair neatly styled and tiaras neatly placed, & nails manicured. The staff didn’t look too bad either, one member of staff came in full Highland dress and very smart he looked too, but let’s not forget prom nights are all about the students,  their dreams & hopes for the future, and upon speaking to some of the students on the night, they seem to have it all sewn up, so Chocorococo would like to say GOOD LUCK to you all in your chosen career, and all the very best for the future.

Above are just a few pics from the evening, can  you see yourself in the pic’s ? leave a comment.

pleased to meet you

*Do you have a product to launch and want to draw attention to your stand ? Well, we have the answer.

Chocolate fountains are NOT just for family celebrations, they can be used very effectively to promote a product / Business. What better way of attracting perspective clients or customers to your stand than a Chocorococo chocolate fountain.Perspective clients will automatically be drawn to your stand, leaving your sales team to chat and hopefully secure a sale whilst they are enjoying the delicious chocolate.

Some companies may wish to use a fountain as a gesture of good will, to say “thank-you”  to their staff for all the hard work they have done, or for staff xmas parties / dances.

One such company who hired a Chocorococo fountain to thank their staff for all the hard work they had done and also launch a new product was a very well known sweet manufacturer in Buckinghamshire, the gesture and indeed the chocolate fountain was very much appreciated by the staff who kept coming back for more.

Chocorococo have also supplied a fountain for William Farmer of Fielding Auctioneers &  who is also a  BBC Antique Roadshow expert, they were having a Clarice Cliff  auction for the Clarice Cliff Club.

A private viewing was held the day before the auction, a jazz band played to welcome the buyers along with our chocolate fountain and sumptuous dips, this created a lovely relaxed & fun atmosphere through out the whole evening.  So as you can see from the examples above a Chocorococo fountain can be a profitable decision for your company, and let’s not forget that you and your staff get the benefits too! So why not give us a call and let us help YOU promote YOUR business ..     (c)chocorococo

Wedding Tip *3

is that all for me.

is that all for me.

Make no mistake ask any guest what they remember most about a wedding, and it will always be the food.

It is well worth the time , effort & budget on getting it right.A good caterer will tell you that it is not a good idea having your guests hanging around for hours before your wedding breakfast or after. All caterers are different in how they handle & arrange things, but tell them your budget and they are usually only to happy to oblige.

Likewise you evening reception, it is advisable not to leave a big gap between your wedding breakfast & evening buffet, remember hungry guests are unhappy guests. Plan with your caterer’s when you want the buffet to arrive, this is usually around 8pm to 8.30pm.

By hiring a Chocolate Fountain as part of your buffet eliminates any hungry guests, as your fountain can run an hour before the buffet arrives, making your guests happy & the children even happier, no need for desserts from your caterer as the fountain IS the dessert, with plenty of dips to choose from , the fountain carries on running for a further hour welcoming any late arrival guests, and keeping the chocoholics amongst you happy.

FACT: Hiring  a  Chocorococo Chocolate Fountain as your dessert option is more cost effective than more traditional desserts & guaranteed more FUN….(c)chocorococo

Here you are excitedly planning you special day,and no doubt wandering where to start? One thing that does need booking early is your Wedding Venue. Traditionally of course it was always the brides home town where you got married, but as we know things are much different now. You may wish to marry abroad, or the grooms home town, or maybe you have some dream destination or venue in mind.

Other places to consider are perhaps venues that you can hire for the whole weekend just for you and your wedding party to make your special day last that little bit longer, and when you have chosen your venue enquire as to the possibility of hiring a Chocolate Fountain for your evening reception, and send your guests home happy.  (c)chocorococo

When organising and planning your wedding, your thoughts turn to your guests…who will you invite?…do they have children?…how will we keep them amused? Well girls here are a few ideas!!!

By hiring a  Chocorococo Chocolate Fountain is a sure way to amuse ALL your guests, and you will certainly know where the children are, they will be congregated around the fountain, and don’t worry we will be there to supervise them at all times. Why not make your own puzzle book, (with the aid of your computer) &  create your own word search with the bride & grooms name in & other members of the family, you could even give each table a letter, the children would have to go to each table to find out each letter , then rearrange the letters to make a word relating to the special day, (it could be your honeymoon destination, where you both met,the possibilities are endless).

Make goodie bags, one for each child with a name tag on, by knowing the name & age of each child attending  will make buying little gifts easy,(ie; sweets, cars for boys, little bracelets for girls, crayons,  pencils, etc, along with the puzzle book you design.) will keep them amused for hours. My very talented Daughter & son in law did this for their wedding, and the children were kept busy all through the speeches which was wonderful, and of course you can still tie your colour theme in with the gift bags & tags so they do not look out of place at the table. see picture below.  (c)chocorococo
