We had a fabulous day at the wedding fayre, Holiday Inn Bromsgrove last Sunday 26/6/11, it was attended by many couples looking for that something a little bit different, for their special day.

The Chocolate Fountain drew couples to our stand, wanting to taste the chocolate, someone even said they were happy to just stand  and smell the aroma of the chocolate… well, each to their own we say .

Also on display was our Berry Tower , a real winner with our couples looking for something a little different , here are a few words sent to us from a couple who have chosen to have a Chocolate Fountain & Berry Tower package as part of their wedding celebrations next year.

The day of the wedding fayre was by far the hottest day of the year , the Chocolate Wedding Favours i made melted,  as did we, then the fire alarm went off and we all had to vacate the building, ( just briefly) , but the cupcakes that were made withstood the heat & looked amazing.

Lets not forget the Mini Cupcakes, ideal as wedding favours , the perfect little bite sized treat, various designs , colours , flavours & sizes can be made by my talented daughter & her friend at The White Rabbit Bakery.

Congratulation to Tracy & Colin on their wedding on 21/5/2011 , where we supplied 2 Berry Towers for a canapes reception, at St.Andrews Town Hotel Droitwich. They were both  decorated in lemon,  the colour theme of the day… it looked lovely, we received many wonderful comments whilst we were assembling the towers .

The following week we supplied Belgian Chocolate wedding favours for Gemma & Nathans wedding.

Gemma decided to have white chocolate bridal hearts, tied with Fushia pink ribbon , a gem stone & a name tag as she used them as place settings. And for the men she chose Milk Chocolate heart lollies with White chocolate initials of each male attending, again tied with a fushia pink ribbon, gemstone & name tag , a brilliant alternative to place cards, and a tasty treat afterwards.

Gemma & Nathan also chose to have  medium & mini rose cupcakes, decorated in pink & Ivory, which were displayed on a tower, topped with a Giant cupcake on the top.

Colour theme of the day for Gemma, was Fushia pink / grey & Ivory, the cupcakes & wedding favours were supplied to match.

The mini cupcakes make superb wedding favours when placed in little  favour boxes, and again why not add a tag & turn them into place settings. Alternatively, your guests could eat their bespoke mini cupcakes with their coffee, what better way to round off a lovely wedding breakfast.

We also attended a wedding fair at Grimscote Manor Hotel, where we met lots of excited couples , all looking for something a little different for their wedding, we received several bookings for next year, and we thank everyone who booked & chose us to be part of their wedding day.

Our next wedding fair will be atThe Holiday Inn, Bromsgrove on June 26th 2011, followed by the Westmead Hotel, Hopwood in September, then back at the Holiday Inn, Bromsgrove in October. Should we be attending any other wedding fairs, we will of course post the details on our website.

Chocorococo are having a great start to the year, we were part of the Bromsgrove Holiday Inn, wedding showcase in January where the Berry Tower was the star of the show . We will be part of Tracy Leonard’s wedding in May at St Andrews Hotel, Droitwich and Liz Green’s wedding in October at Patsull Hall, Wolverhampton .

The Berry tower is a great alternative to the more traditional canapes for a wedding, particularly in the summer months, what could be more delightful than a glass of champagne & a chocolate strawberry.

The chocolate fountain will be part of the wedding celebrations of  Sarah & Craig’s wedding at theHoliday Inn Bromsgrove next year.

The next wedding showcase at the Holiday Inn, Bromsgrove will be in June, where we will of course be exhibiting , so if you couldn’t make the January showcase, pop along to the June showcase and come and say hello.

February  saw us attend the wedding of my very good friend Lynn’s son David to his lovely bride Sally, The wedding & reception took place at The Granary Hotel , after a very quick costume change ,we provided the chocolate fountain for their guests long into the evening , we had a lovely day. 

We also attended the 50th Birthday celebrations of Liz Lewis, where Las Vegas came to Birmingham, 200 guests where treated to a casino, band, dj, the fountain & Elvis as well as a lovely buffet at the westmead Hotel , Hopwood, we had a fabulous evening, the fountain was very well used & loved by everyone, even the king himself ….AHA!.   chocorococo(c)

Well, here we are another year nearly at an end, whilst it has not been a particularly busy year for us, it has been very eventful. We had the winners of our wedding competition get married in August, ( what a busy day that was!) and again many thanks to all who made the wedding possible.

 Attended some wedding fairs, and met some lovely people , and became providers for the Holiday Inn Bromsgrove as part of their wedding packages for 2011 & 2012, of which we are delighted.

We even met some rather strange people at the annual Halloween Bash at Tally Ho! Police Sports & Social Club, Birmingham. Now as the year draws to a close we are looking forward to 2011 and hopefully a busy year!
