Wedding Tip 4*

When planning your wedding, everything can seem like it is spiraling out of control, but your wedding should reflect your personality, and the money you choose to spend should create a WOW factor for your overall day.

You have probably seen and purchased your dream dress, booked your venue, and started to make that list that seems to get longer & longer ( only to be cut down dramatically when dad views the list).

When deciding on your bridesmaids attire, have a girly night in and discuss what they would like, after all what suits one will not suit another, we are all shapes & sizes. You don’t need to have traditional dresses which could cost more, but try visiting some of the well known high street stores that have suitable dresses / bags / fascinators etc , this way your bridesmaids can wear their outfits again for other functions & save them money in the long run,(they will thank you for it, trust me!) Ah! i hear you say who pays for them?    This is entirely down to the individual , traditionally the bride pays for the outfits, but you usually find that your bridesmaids are happy to pay, or at least contribute to be part of such a special occasion.

The bride pays for the jewellery for her bridesmaids, you may wish to give them their gift before the wedding so as they can wear it on the day, rather than give it to them at the reception, if you feel you really must give them something at the reception, what about a photo of you all together on your hen night or girly night out together in a suitable frame, it won’t break the bank, and the memories of that day will be forever captured, and they have worn that special gift you have so carefully chosen for them when it matters most.     (c) chocorococo
